January 03 2010 Meeting Minutes


   Meeting was called to order by President Rudy Bradley. Rudy resigned his position and Vice President Mike Hueston moved to the President.  
    No minutes of the last meeting was read. A treasure report was given with the club having about $1200.00. Unknown what the insurance will cost this year for the club.
  
OLD BUSINESS

 Mike Hansen and Byron Bradley was nominated for the vacant Vice-President position. Byron Bradley received 2 votes and Mike Hansen received 10 votes. Mike Hansen will be the new Vice-President.
 Peggy Stokes made motion to have 6 directors, Rudy Bradley 2nd the motion, motion passes unanimously.
 Dan Jaquinet nominated Rudy Bradley as a director to fill the empty position that Mike Hansen held. Rudy agreed for one year. motion was seconded, motion passed. Byron made motion for the existing directors Byron Bradley, Pete Johnson, and Rudy Bradley for one year term and the three new directors a three year term. Peggy Stokes seconded and motion passed. Jay Wright, Scott Fleming, and Zach Bradley was nominated for the 3 year director positions. Motion was made for nominations cease, 2nd and motion passed. Jay Wright, Scott Fleming, and Zach Bradley will be directors for 3 years.

NEW BUSINESS

  There was discussion about having pulls at Nevada and Sheldon Mo. Mike Hueston will find out more information and report at the next meeting.
  There was discussion about the 2010 pull schedule. Rudy Bradley made motion to leave the pulls the same as last year, Dan Jaquinet 2nd motion, motion passed.
  There was discussion about hydrostat tractors in the stock class. Discussion about the hydrostat cannot be adjusted after 30 ft. Hydrostat can be adjusted in the open class. No action taken.
  It was brought up that all kids must keep both hands on the steering wheel.
 There was discussion about the stock class tractors not to exceed 4000 rpm's.
 There was discussion about people approaching the sled while in motion. It was decided NO ONE WILL BE ALLOWED CLOSE TO THE SLED WHILE IN MOTION.
  There was discussion about Super Stock and over tractors have a steel flywheel. A motion was made for any tractor turning over 4000 rpm's should have a steel flywheel or 1/4" shield around the cast flywheel or both to protect from flywheel debris. Motion 2nd and passed.
 There was discussion about 14 year olds pulling in Stock Altered class. It was mentioned 14 year old pullers can pull in the Stock Altered class with approval of directors.No action taken
  There was discussion about tractors being hooked and pulling within 2 minutes from the when the sled returns to the start position. No action
  There was discussion about having plenty of help at the events. No action
  Peggy Stokes made motion to adjourn Byron Bradley 2nd, motion passed.

February 7, 2010 Meeting

Meeting was called to order by the President Mike Hueston. Minutes for the January 2010 meeting was read and approved. Treasure report was presented.

OLD BUSINESS

2010 rule changes

The following rule changes was properly moved and 2nd and passed with a majority vote of the club members present.

1. Hydrostats can't move handle after 30 feet in stock and suoer stock class. Hydros can run n the open class and work the hydrostat.

2. RPM max in Stock and Super Stock classes will be 4000 rpm.

3. Miles per Hour will be written down for the Stock Altered, Super Stock, and Open classes. Any tractor pulling over 2 mph faster than others in the class will be moved up a class.

4. Any tractor turning over 4000 rpm will have a steel flywheel of stock weight or a shield of 1/8 inch steel around stock flywheel.

5. 14 year old kids can pull in the Stock Altered class with director approval.

6. Al tractors must be hooked to the sled and pulling with in 2 minutes or pull will be forfeited. The directors must overturn forfeit for pull to count.

7. Naturally aspirated motors only in all classes.

8. Dressing of the front edge of the tire allowed for all classes. No dressing of the top of the bar or back side. Director disceation if questioned.

9. Sign up will open 1 hour before the pull and close 15 minutes before pull starts to allow all the paperwork done.

10. All weights and stingers must be in pull position when weighing. If weight is moved must weigh again.
